This position requires being on your feet and walking for 7.5 hours per shift.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly, transport product to the front counter so customers can continue to shop unhindered, open showcases and present products to customers.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising strategies when vendors are not present.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and washroom through scheduled maintenance duties.
- Handle cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service during busy periods.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales processes
- Experience or interest in vintage, antiques and collectables
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain store presentation standards
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service by active listening
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques to create appealing displays that drive sales
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and online marketing, a plus

Pay: From $18.15 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 32.0 per week
