Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the company’s domestic and international transportation activities.
The incumbent manages shipments, ensures compliance with customs and logistics documentation, coordinates with various external partners, and tracks deliveries to guarantee adherence to schedules, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
He or she plays a key role in optimizing logistics operations and actively contributes to the continuous improvement of transportation and shipping processes.
Reports directly to: Supply Chain Director
Main Responsibilities
Coordinate local, domestic, and international shipments according to production schedules and project requirements.
Plan and organize transportation in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Prepare, validate, and ensure compliance of shipping and export documentation.
Manage customs formalities related to exports and imports.
Ensure that records comply with USMCA requirements, the CERS system, and other applicable regulations.
Track deliveries and respond promptly in the event of issues or delays.
Communicate regularly with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers.
Analyze transportation costs and recommend optimization solutions.
Participate in the selection and evaluation of carriers.
Collaborate closely with the production, procurement, project management, sales, and after-sales service departments.
Keep information up to date in ERP systems and logistics tracking tools.
Generate various reports and performance metrics related to transportation activities.
Actively participate in initiatives for the continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Required Qualifications

Main Responsabilities
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of production areas, locker rooms, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors, work surfaces, and shared equipment.

Clean and restock restrooms and locker rooms (soap, paper, etc.).
Ensure that walkways and break areas are clean.
Report any breakages, abnormalities, or repair needs to your supervisor.

Materials Management
Verify materials upon receipt and ensure they conform to purchase orders
Identify and report any non-conformities or anomalies
Distribute required materials to various projects according to pick lists
Manage returns of materials to suppliers
Prepare shipments according to guidelines (packaging, labeling, documentation)
Organize the transport of materials between suppliers and the company
Inventory Management
Conduct cyclical inventories and participate in physical inventory counts
Process inventory transactions in the system (issues, returns, adjustments)
