We have an immediate opening for a hardworking Masonry Helper on an active commercial project in Calgary. We are willing to train candidates who are dependable, physically capable, and eager to learn the trade on site.
Pay & Hours
- Compensation: $20.00 – $25.00 / hour (commensurate with experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Saturday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
Job Scope
- Mixing batch mortar, grout, and keeping masons continuously supplied with materials.
- Staging job sites, assisting with scaffold assembly, and unloading material deliveries.
- Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe site workspace throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a masonry laborer or in general construction is a strong asset.
- Strong physical endurance and ability to lift heavy construction materials regularly.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing tasks at heights.
- CSTS-20 and Fall Protection certificates required prior to your start date (we can share course links if you need to get certified first).
- Solid work ethic, reliable attendance, and a team-first mindset.
