Montrose Daycare & Childcare Centre is a licensed, government-subsidized childcare facility serving families across Calgary from two welcoming locations. We are a proudly multicultural team built on community, inclusion, and the belief that every child deserves to feel safe, celebrated, and cared for. We are growing — and we are excited to announce the addition of a brand new 28-passenger school bus to our fleet.
To support our expanding programs, we are looking for a responsible, caring, and reliable Daycare Driver to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from school using our new 28-passenger school bus
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during transit
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bus
- Follow all applicable Alberta traffic laws and centre safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 driver’s license (Alberta)
- · S-Endorsement (School Bus Endorsement) on your Alberta driver’s license — this is a firm requirement for this role
- · Clean driving record — we will conduct a driver’s abstract review as part of our hiring process
- · Friendly, patient, and reliable disposition
- · Ability to work split shifts, Monday to Friday

Assets (not required but valued):
- Previous experience working with children
- Child Care Certificate, or willingness to obtain one (to help support child-to-staff ratios on the bus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
- Class 2 Driver's License with an S-Endorsement (School Bus) (required)
