Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. This role involves ensuring accurate data entry, extreme organization and multi tasking, excellent customer service and strong administrative skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties and Skills
- Manage auction invoicing procedures and payments, maintaining accurate records
- Maintain organized records of transactions and employee information in compliance with company policies
- Manage incoming calls through multi-line phone systems, providing professional customer support and directing inquiries efficiently
- Handle front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, managing emails, and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Data entry tasks, including updating client information and other records
- Catalogue auction items - Photograph, describe, and rack items coming up for auction
- Strong computer literacy with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining accuracy in all work
- Reliable, dependable, and a quick learner
Experience
- Previous office or clerical experience including data entry, filing, and general administrative duties is an asset
- Knowledge of Auction operations and procedures an asset
- Proficiency with Canva, DC Catalog, Mail Poet, and/or Website management an asset
- Prior experience within an office/administrative setting is preferred but not required
- Photography skills considered an asset
This position will combine working in both a warehouse and office setting.
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
