One of our clients is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator/Part Finisher to join their team in Uxbridge, ON.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deburr machined components using hand and pneumatic tools.
- Operate vibratory tumblers and other part finishing equipment.
- Brush, polish, clean, and package parts for final inspection and shipment.
- Robotic operation for part finishing
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Identify and report quality issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Package finished parts as required.
Other Duties
As production requirements change, the successful candidate will also be expected to assist in other areas of the shop. This may include:
- Operating CNC machines.
- Loading and unloading machines.
- General production and assembly work.
- Material handling and other manufacturing duties as required.
- Operate a forklift for material handling (preferred)
Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good communication skills and fluent English.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- CNC machining experience is an asset.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
