About the Role:
MacMor Industries is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate receiving, handling, and shipping of products while supporting efficient order fulfillment and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has experience in a warehouse environment, understands shipping and inventory processes, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate shipping records.
- Assist customers at the warehouse pickup counter and provide professional, friendly service.
- Generate and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading.
- Confirm incoming deliveries by comparing shipments against invoices, bills of lading, and other documentation.
- Weigh and prepare items as required for shipment.
- Pick and verify products using shipping orders and invoices to ensure order accuracy.
- Use inventory scanning equipment to track and manage products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
- Support production and warehouse operations by monitoring and assisting with order fulfillment activities.
- Perform additional warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines during busy periods.
- Experience using handheld inventory scanners or RF devices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
- Steel-toed safety boots are required.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) throughout the workday.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the initiative to work independently when required.
- Professional demeanor and commitment to company policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and cross-functional departments.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or a related role.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, internet navigation, and Windows-based systems.
- Strong reading, writing, basic math, and communication abilities.
