In-Person Survey Research Assistant - Gain Research Experience ($30 / hour)

Looking for an opportunity to add research experience to your resume? To earn some extra income over the summer?
PRA Inc., a national market research company, is looking to hire outgoing people in the Ottawa area for a short-term position to help conduct in-person surveys at three museums starting on August 8, 2026. This work is to be completed over the course of about 3 weeks, with shifts occurring during daytime hours through to August 26, 2026. Successful applicants can expect to work approximately 8-10 days, Wednesdays through Sundays, across the 3 weeks of fielding.
Job applicants must:
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable talking with others
- Be able to work independently
- Speak fluently in both English and French
- Have no criminal record, verifiable by a previously completed and valid police record check (or willing to complete one)
- Have availability to attend a brief (45 minutes max) paid online training session
Interviewers will receive $30 per hour.
Please note that although this position is temporary and short-term, PRA often requires research assistants to help with other in-person surveying projects. Successful applicants may be contacted for future opportunities to work with PRA.
