Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking, dependable Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial construction and be comfortable working with a variety of woodworking tools and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform framing, renovations, finishing, and general carpentry work.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials.
- Operate woodworking equipment including miter saws, table saws, circular saws, and other hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
- Install doors, trim, baseboards, cabinets, flooring, and other finish carpentry components.
- Complete projects according to company quality standards and building codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of carpentry or woodworking experience preferred.
- Experience operating a miter saw, table saw, and other woodworking equipment.
- Strong woodworking skills with the ability to measure, cut, and fabricate accurately.
- Knowledge of framing, trim, finishing, and renovation work.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labour.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are an asset.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
