Junior Accounting Clerk – Automotive Dealership
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
West Edmonton Mall Toyota is seeking a Junior Accounting Clerk to join our busy automotive dealership accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual looking to build their accounting career in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Post and reconcile Daily Deposits.
- Assist with posting, processing and reconciling Accounts Payable invoices.
- Monitor and reconcile Contracts in Transit (CIT) and follow up on outstanding funding.
- Post factory/manufacturer invoices.
- Assist with bank, credit card, vendor, and General Ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with vehicle deal accounting
- Assist with month-end procedures, journal entries, and accounting schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Perform other accounting duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Accounting Certificate or equivalent post-secondary accounting education required.
- Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience required.
- Automotive dealership accounting experience is an asset.
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA Ignite), or similar dealership software is an asset.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Professional, dependable, and willing to learn.
