Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality standards
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple orders with speed and accuracy
- Ensure all food service activities comply with health regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment are preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Ability to work within a team environment as a leader or assistant
- Ability to work independently sometimes
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$25.87 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 44.0 per week
