CNC Programmer/Operator
The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery, programming languages, and machining techniques.
Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Powermill Software.
- knowledge of Mitsubishi and Fanuc control is an asset.
- Develop, optimize and troubleshoot CNC programs.
- Set up and operate CNC machines as needed.
- Conduct test runs and adjust programs to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs and machine settings.
Requirements
- College Diploma/Certificate as CNC Programmer.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of machines, machining processes and cutting techniques.
- Able to measure dimensions using calipers, micrometer, bore gage and other measuring instruments.
- Able to work with tight deadlines.
The candidate should be a Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident for the role.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
