We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant with an international medical graduate background to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Assist in diagnosis and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Manage patient care across various specialties such as pediatrics, acute care, pain management & refferal.
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records systems like Juno/Oscar.
- Collect data for research purposes and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient education on health management and treatment options
- Support hospital teams by participating in patient rounds and multidisciplinary meetings
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of patient safety
Skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Juno/Oscar
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Experience in hospital settings, including acute care and research environments
- Knowledge of pain management, pediatrics, and home healthcare practices
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and medication administration accurately
- Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities
- Prior experience in medical office settings or healthcare research is advantageous
- Familiarity with data collection methods for clinical studies or quality assurance projects

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
