Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of outdoor landscaping and maintenance tasks to ensure the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, possess mechanical knowledge, and be comfortable operating various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction-related activities while contributing to beautiful outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects
- Operate equipment such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, trimming, mowing, and fertilizing
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment for digging, lifting, and shaping soil or terrain
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance to keep properties looking their best
- Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including site preparation and cleanup
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor work activities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas
Experience
- Prior experience with excavation equipment such as excavators is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to outdoor tools and equipment is advantageous
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general construction work is beneficial
- Previous employment in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related outdoor labor roles is desirable
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
