Overview
Hiring Red Seal heavy duty mechanic subcontractor. Service truck and tools provided. 14/7 days/nights rotation, camp and flights provided. Mining experience would be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, haul trucks, dozers, articulating trucks, loaders
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct welding and fabrication repairs as needed to restore equipment functionality
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery
- Operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment during maintenance or testing procedures
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy industrial equipment; dealership experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- Experience working with road building and mining machinery
- Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment repair are preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $200,000.00-$250,000.00 per hour
