About the Role
VOL Handyman is hiring a skilled, reliable handyman to service residential jobs in private homes across Newmarket, Aurora, East Gwillimbury, and nearby communities. No two days are the same — you'll handle a variety of repairs and improvements that keep our clients' homes running smoothly. If you're handy, dependable, and take pride in quality work, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Basic plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, drains, fixtures)
- Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, light fixtures)
- Furniture assembly and mounting
- General repairs and maintenance tasks around the home
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
What You Need
- Hands-on knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, furniture assembly, and general home repairs
- Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Your own variety of basic hand and power tools
- Availability to take jobs on short notice, including weekends
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a customer-friendly attitude
Nice to Have
- Previous handyman, trades, or home-renovation experience
- Comfort working independently and managing your own job schedule
