Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation and installation of landscape features, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
Operate machinery such as excavators and power tools safely and efficiently to support construction and landscaping projects.
Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, weeding, and watering to keep outdoor areas pristine.
Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal watering practices.
Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to carry out gardening tasks, soil preparation, and general site cleanup.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools, performing basic maintenance or reporting issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications
Previous experience in construction, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Basic mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices or horticulture principles will be highly valued.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
