Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Shop Labourer/ pick up team specialist to join our team. This role primarily involves performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on trailers to ensure they meet our quality standards before delivery. Additionally, you will assist our Pickup Team with daily trailer pickups, ensuring customers are properly set up and informed about their new trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on trailers daily, ensuring all components are functional and meet quality standards.
- Assist the Pickup Team by:
- Demonstrating how to safely hook up new trailers to customers’ vehicles.
- Explaining routine maintenance procedures to customers.
- Verifying that customers have all the necessary towing components to ensure safe and effective use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the pickup process.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to customers.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
