Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated OFA3/Advanced First Aid Attendant to provide critical emergency response and patient care within an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will possess advanced first aid skills, and strong understanding of medical procedures. This role involves delivering immediate medical assistance, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. The position requires a professional with excellent communication skills, the ability to handle high-pressure situations, and physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced first aid and emergency medical response to patients, staff, or visitors as needed
- Assist with patient care activities, including vital signs monitoring and basic medical procedures
- Administer medications in accordance with established protocols and under supervision when necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of all medical interventions and incidents
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate patient care and emergency responses
- Prepare and restock first aid supplies to ensure readiness at all times
Experience
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is advantageous
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist in patient transfers safely
- Certification as an OFA3/Advanced First Aid Attendant is required or must be obtained prior to employment
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role
This is a camp environment and will require on call assistance on an as needed basis. General labour duties will be assigned when first aid is not required.
3 weeks on/3 weeks off

Pay: $325.00-$350.00 per day
