We’re hiring a part-time Production Cook!
Duties
- Prepare sauces, breads, desserts and other menu items from scratch
- Perform high-volume daily prep (batch cooking, portioning, labeling)
- Assist with casual lunch service twice per week
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
- Monitor inventory and communicate ingredient needs
- Wash dishes, perform cleaning and closing duties as needed
- Follow standardized recipes and maintain product consistency
- Train and support other kitchen staff when required
Experience
- Previous kitchen or production-cook experience an asset
- Familiarity with scratch cooking techniques for sauces, breads, and desserts
- Experience with portion control and batch scaling
- Comfortable using commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers)
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
