Purpose:
The Service Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue growth through the sale of service contracts and maintenance agreements. This position is responsible for prospecting new clients, developing long-term customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through consultative selling and exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets for the assigned region – Canada East (Aurora, Hamilton, Ottawa).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and leads
- Promote and sell Long Term Service Agreements and other service offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction
- Manage and grow the assigned sales territory strategically
- Analyze regional market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Help develop regional sales plans and forecasts
- Recommend strategies to improve market penetration
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Participate in bi-weekly sales pipeline meetings
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
- Track expenses and manage travel within budget
- Work closely with marketing, customer service, and operations teams
- Provide feedback from customers to improve products or services
- Travel regularly within the region to meet clients and prospects
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, or industry events
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this position, it is desired that you have some (or all) of the following:
Here’s what we need:
- 10+ years’ experience in Service Sales
- post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience generating leads, prospecting, and closing new business
- Experience managing existing accounts and building long-term client relationships
- Familiarity with service contracts, maintenance agreements, or recurring revenue models
- Experience using CRM systems
- Flexible and adaptive to a frequently changing environment
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Close attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Intermediate level ability with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
And here’s what would be an asset:
- Experience in the boiler industry, servicing commercial industrial boilers
- Working knowledge of Thermogenics boilers and related equipment
Term, Hours of Work and Compensation:
This position is a full time role with a three (3) month probationary period.
The hours of work shall be consistent with the ordinary business hours of the Company and may vary from time to time.
We expect to compensate the successful candidate at a salary consistent with market and based on experience.
