Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, particularly within a dental setting. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Administrator will be responsible for supporting both staff and patients while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls with professionalism.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
- Assist with billing processes, insurance verification, and payment collection.
- Utilize Curve software for patient management and record keeping.
- Collaborate with medical or dental staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely appointments and minimal wait times.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to office supplies, correspondence, and report preparation.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical/dental office environment is preferred. However, if you excel in Customer Service, we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Proficiency with Epic, Dentrix, or similar electronic medical/dental records software.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to healthcare documentation.
- Office experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in administrative roles within healthcare settings is highly desirable. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of our healthcare facility while providing outstanding service to our patients and supporting our team’s success.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
