Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary needs
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations by being attentive, courteous, and professional
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues diplomatically
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for bill calculations, tips, and cash handling accurately
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
- Good communication skills with team members and guests alike
