Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hardscape Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in landscape and hardscape installation, masonry, and various construction techniques. This role involves working on outdoor projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to create durable and aesthetically pleasing hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and more. Candidates should be comfortable with power tools, and possess a solid foundation in construction practices. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the transformation of outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting foundations for hardscape features
- Install pavers, bricks, stonework, concrete forms, and other materials with precision
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials
- Perform concrete finishing including pouring, leveling, and sealing surfaces
- Apply masonry techniques for wall building and decorative stonework
- Install drainage systems, plumbing fixtures, or electrical components as needed for site functionality
- Conduct restoration work to repair or enhance existing hardscape features
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, masonry, concrete forming, and finishing techniques
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
