What You'll Be Doing
- Provide first-line support for Windows computers, Microsoft 365, user access, and common software issues.
- Assist with help desk tickets, documenting issues, solutions, and work performed.
- Support internal applications, software, products, and utilities.
- Reproduce reported software issues, collect logs and screenshots, and escalate complex problems.
- Help develop, test, and document internal automation tools and scripts using Python.
- Follow cybersecurity protocols, support change management, and adhere to security standards.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Strong interest in software and application support, troubleshooting, and automation.
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and scripting (preferably Python).
- Ability to follow written procedures, document work clearly, and communicate technical issues effectively.
- Willingness to learn, research solutions, and ask for help when needed.
- Familiarity with web applications, electronics, or manufacturing systems is a plus.
- Post-secondary education in IT, computer science, or a related field is an asset or practical experience.
Compensation
The estimated base pay rate for this position is CAD $50,000 to CAD $65,000 per year as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training. Please note that this range reflects the base pay rate only and does not include any applicable bonuses or benefits.
