Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Hope, and Abbotsford.
We are currently seeking an energetic and self-motivated individual to fill a full-time Shipping/Receiving position in Chilliwack at the Airport Road Location.
The successful Shipper/Receiver must have:

Valid BC Driver's License

Enjoy working with people

Possess the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Basic computer skills - Willing to learn
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
-
Experience with Forklift is an asset, or willing to be trained and certified.

Good driver’s abstract

Physically able and willing to lift 50lbs continuously

Self-motivated

Strong organizational skills

Customer service and communication skills

Willing to learn
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday. While not typical, a Saturday or Sunday shift may be required.
Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Process courier deliveries
-
Checking off stock orders - by hand & using RF Gun
-
Cross-referencing using supplied tools to ensure accuracy in receiving
-
Troubleshooting and communicating any discrepancies/damages in received orders
-
Data entry for stock and special orders
-
Processing warehouse returns/warranties quickly
-
Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the workspace
-
Help Dispatch when busy with picking orders
