Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to safeguard our clients’ premises. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting surveillance activities, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure environment through active observation and prompt response to incidents.
Duties
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises
- Perform patrols of the facility to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards
- Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms or emergency situations in accordance with established protocols
- Document all incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism
- Collaborate with local emergency responders when necessary to ensure safety during incidents
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security protocols is essential
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious activity quickly
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective coordination during emergencies
- Ability to remain alert and professional during long shifts while maintaining high attention to detail
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
