Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service and upselling techniques.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist in food handling and kitchen duties as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Ensure timely service during peak hours by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks.
- Uphold restaurant standards for food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
