Our employer partner in the food manufacturing and bakery industry is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Baker / Dough Sheeter to join their growing team. Position Overview
The Baker / Dough Sheeter plays a key role in the production process by preparing and processing dough to ensure consistent quality and presentation of baked products. The successful candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and product quality while supporting daily bakery operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dough sheeting equipment to produce consistent dough products.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with bakery production activities.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Package finished products according to company procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other bakery and food production tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in baking, food production, commercial kitchens, or food preparation is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and proper food handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Experience in packaging, restaurant operations, or cake decorating is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Compensation & Benefits
- $17.20 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience
