Company Overview
Signature Site is a leading service provider of signage, lighting, electrical and site maintenance solutions to national brands. We operate across Canada through everyday service, urgent 24/7 maintenance and transformative projects in retail, petroleum and other commercial sectors. For over 30 years, we've been helping our clients maintain and transform their stores, offices, warehouses, parking lots and facilities.
As we continue to grow, we are adding a JM Electrician or 3rd/ 4th YR Apprentice to our Edmonton office to support our expanding field operations and client base.
Job Summary
We perform commercial service work for national retail and restaurant brands — troubleshooting, lighting retrofits and repairs at Petroleum, Restaurant and retail locations across the Edmonton area.
We are open to a ticketed Journeyman Electrician or a strong 3rd or 4th year apprentice who wants to build a career in service work.
If you would rather diagnose five different problems in a week and be trusted to run your own calls than pull wire on the same jobsite for eight months, this is that job.
Duties

- LED retrofits and lighting upgrades; lamp, ballast and driver replacements
- Troubleshooting from the panel out: reading drawings, isolating the fault, and getting the customer running the same day
- Working safely from a bucket truck, scissor lift and ladders (up to approximately [45] ft)
- Occasional overnight travel in Alberta and Saskatchewan — roughly [2–3] nights a month, with travel, accommodation and meals covered plus per diem
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on industrial electrical equipment and systems
- Support renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure
- Follow safety protocols while working with high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used

- Current status as a JM Electrician or 3rd / 4th Year Electrical Apprentice with relevant experience
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
- Experience with commercial electrician and construction environments preferred
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and renovation processes
- Handyman experience is a plus for versatile troubleshooting and minor repairs
