We are a neurosurgeon-led center providing multi-disciplinary spine care from clinical assessment, rehabilitation services, interventional imaging based spinal injections, EMG/NCS, minimally invasive to complex spine surgeries.
Our team consists of Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Physiatrists, Pain Specialists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and Naturopathic doctors.
The successful candidates will Friendly and Personable more than anything. The job entails:
- Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner
- Perform administrative duties such as: handling referrals, booking patient appointments,
perparing patient charts, filling, answering phones, check messages and return calls in a
timely manner, updating the EMR system and coordinating physician's clinics;
- Collect insurance information for direct billing and submit claims daily
- Collect payment from the patients and provide them with invoices after each visit.
- Maintain an organized, clean and confidential work environment.
- Work as a team member along side of the other allied healthcare providers and 3
additional admin staff.
Full-time - may includes weekend
Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2+ years of previous experience in a medical office.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Good time management skills and ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
- Experience with EMR's (Accuro, Epic, Jane) preferred.
- Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly;
- Good listening skills along with the ability to accept and follow direction.
