Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the logistics of frac sand trucks. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze data to ensure efficient freight movement.
- Night shift dispatch is required to work 7on/7off, shifts are 12 hour shifts from 6PM-6AM
- Day shift dispatch is required to work 7on/7off, shifts are 12 hour shifts from 6AM-6PM
- Familiarity with AXON, MOTIVE, and ROOK CONNECT an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to coordinate the timely pickup and delivery of frac sand
- Utilize phone systems and other communication tools to relay information and updates to drivers
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including driver logs, delivery confirmations, and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring timely responses
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette in all communications
Skills:
- Familiarity with frac sand transportation industry terminology and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using phone systems for coordinating logistics operations
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
