Hiring a warehouse worker in Scarborough
A forklift license is an asset- to be trained
8 am shift (Mon-Fri)
$17.60/hour paid biweekly
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments with precision
- Perform order picking and packing tasks accurately using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders promptly
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods with heavy lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and updating warehouse records
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment to promote safety and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution operations
- Valid certification for forklift operation is an asset
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, packaging, and load/unload processes
