Fence Team Lead – $32.50/hr
Dynamic Fencing and Decks is looking for an experienced Fence Team Lead to run a two-person fence crew in Greater Victoria.
This is not an entry-level position. You must be able to build fences from start to finish without supervision and train the laborer working under you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading a two-person fence crew
- Building cedar, steel ornamental, steel panel, and chain-link fences
- Layout, measuring, and material takeoffs
- Setting posts, installing panels, and building gates
- Training and developing fence laborers and installers
- Maintaining quality control and production targets
- Communicating professionally with homeowners and management
- Taking ownership of projects from start to finish
Requirements:
- Previous fence installation experience
- Ability to build fences unsupervised
- Ability to train and mentor junior crew members
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to tow a trailer
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
