The Opportunity
This position is ideal for a lawyer with approximately 1–3 years of post-call experience who is ready to take ownership of files, work directly with clients, and continue building a successful legal career.

Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Manage files from intake through resolution.
- Provide practical, strategic legal advice.
- Draft pleadings, agreements, corporate documents, and legal correspondence.
- Attend discoveries, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances as required.
- Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions.
- Maintain organized files and meet all deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, financial institutions, and third parties.
- Work collaboratively with lawyers, law clerks, and administrative staff.
- Build lasting client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the firm.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Approximately 1–3 years of post-call experience.
- Strong drafting, analytical, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage files independently with minimal supervision while recognizing when collaboration or guidance is appropriate.
- A professional, dependable, and client-focused approach.
- Review and analyze case files, evidence, and legal precedents to inform case development.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, client meetings, and court proceedings.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Support the firm’s litigation efforts by preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.

Pay: $85,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
