Daycare Early Childhood Educator:
As an ECE our management team will rely on you to create and implement an age appropriate program while maintaining ministry guidelines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates a warm and loving positive environment.
- Maintains licensing regulations such as program planning and implementation attendance, public health expectations.
- Ensures the classroom is maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
- Provides information to parents via weekly newsletter concerning their children’s goals and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Educator Diploma
- Must be registered and a member in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) or in the process.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or before and after school setting an asset
- Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
- Ability to obtain clear valid Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen
Gross Salary: $26.00 per hour (salary is dependent on experience)
40 hours per week (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
