Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Functional Financials Business Systems Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize our global Oracle EBS Financials environment. The successful candidate will serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle Financials, working closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and IT teams to design solutions, improve business processes, support global operations, and lead strategic finance transformation initiatives.
This role requires deep functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12 Financials, including:
· General Ledger (GL)
· Accounts Payable (AP)
· Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Fixed Assets (FA)
· Cash Management (CM)
A key requirement is extensive experience implementing and managing Oracle Fixed Assets Corporate Books and Tax Books across both U.S. and international legal entities, as well as leading fixed asset data migration efforts from legacy ERP systems into Oracle EBS.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Financials Functional Leadership
· Serve as the functional lead for Oracle EBS Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
· Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to identify process improvements and implement Oracle EBS solutions.
· Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
· Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on solution delivery.
· Configure and support Oracle EBS R12 Financials applications.
· Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployments.
· Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
· Analyze and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and compliance.
Fixed Assets Leadership
· Lead the implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle Fixed Assets.
· Design and maintain:
o Corporate Books
o Tax Books
o Depreciation Rules
o Calendar Structures
o Asset Categories
o Asset Key Flexfields
o Mass Additions
o Asset Transfers and Retirements
· Configure and support fixed asset requirements for:
o U.S. GAAP
o U.S. Federal Tax
o State Tax
o International statutory reporting requirements
· Support fixed asset accounting and compliance across multiple global entities.
Fixed Asset Data Migration
· Lead end-to-end migration of fixed asset records from legacy ERP systems into Oracle EBS.
· Analyze legacy asset data and develop migration strategies.
· Validate data quality and reconciliation requirements.
· Coordinate extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading activities.
· Manage:
o Asset cost balances
o Accumulated depreciation
o Depreciation reserves
o Asset categories
o Tax book information
o Historical asset transactions
· Reconcile migrated asset data to source systems and accounting records.
· Develop migration testing, validation, and cutover plans.
Business Process & Project Support
· Support finance transformation initiatives and ERP enhancement projects.
· Participate in global rollouts, acquisitions, divestitures, and legal entity expansions.
· Provide functional leadership for integrations with related systems.
· Collaborate with auditors, controllers, tax teams, and external consultants.
· Prepare training materials and conduct end-user training.
Required Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Experience
· 8+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials functional experience.
· 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fixed Assets experience.
· Multiple full lifecycle Oracle EBS R12 Financials implementations.
· Proven experience supporting global finance organizations.
· Extensive experience with Oracle EBS Financials:
o General Ledger (GL)
o Accounts Payable (AP)
o Accounts Receivable (AR)
o Fixed Assets (FA)
o Cash Management (CM)
Fixed Assets Expertise
Must demonstrate substantial experience with:
· Oracle Fixed Assets Corporate Books setup.
· Oracle Fixed Assets Tax Books setup.
· Bonus depreciation and tax depreciation methods.
· Multi-currency environments.
· International fixed asset reporting requirements.
· Asset transfers, retirements, and mass transactions.
· Period close and depreciation processing.
Data Migration Experience
Must have led one or more successful:
· Fixed Asset migrations from legacy ERP systems to Oracle EBS.
· Global asset conversion projects.
· Asset reconciliation and validation efforts.
· Data mapping and cleansing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
· Oracle Financials certifications.
· Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor industries.
· Experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.x.
· Understanding of Subledger Accounting (SLA).
· Knowledge of Oracle Projects (PA) and Purchasing (PO).
· Familiarity with SQL and Oracle reporting tools.
· Experience with international tax and statutory reporting requirements.
· Experience supporting SOX-compliant environments.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
