Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with manual labor tasks on construction sites
- Set up and maintain traffic control measures as a Flag Person to ensure safety
- Direct and manage the flow of vehicles and pedestrians around work zones
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Keep the construction site clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the site supervisor promptly
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills to effectively direct traffic and work with the team
- Basic understanding of construction site safety and traffic control procedures
- Physical fitness and strength to handle manual labor tasks
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different job site requirements
- Valid driver’s license and flag person certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
- Willingness to travel for extended periods of time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
