Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing fresh sandwiches and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to Subway standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using the POS system, including Micros POS if applicable.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with kitchen organization to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions, concerns, or special requests professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the food industry.
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining sanitation standards in the kitchen area.
- Prior restaurant or food industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
