Responsibilities
- Monitor event premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to detect suspicious activity and maintain overall security.
- Control access points by verifying credentials, issuing passes, and managing entry and exit procedures for attendees, staff, vendors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the event site to identify potential hazards or security breaches and respond swiftly to incidents.
- Enforce event policies and procedures by managing crowd behavior and preventing unauthorized access or loss prevention issues.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders in case of incidents or emergencies, ensuring prompt communication and coordinated response efforts.
- Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations through shift reports and logs.
- Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor large areas effectively and identify any unusual activity.
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques using CCTV systems enhances your ability to monitor large venues efficiently.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies helps in deterring theft or vandalism during events.
- Strong observational skills coupled with the ability to respond calmly under pressure are essential for success in this role.
- Certification in security operations or relevant training programs is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is expected.
