About the Client:
We're seeking a compassionate caregiver to support a client recovering from elective cosmetic surgery (tummy tuck and breast augmentation). This is a short-term assignment starting Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, for approximately two weeks. The client is independent but will need temporary assistance during the initial recovery period as they regain mobility and comfort.
Responsibilities:
The caregiver will provide light support focused on comfort and daily living assistance. Primary duties include helping the client move safely from bed to the bathroom, providing stability while walking during the early recovery phase, and ensuring they feel secure during transfers. Meal preparation involves reheating pre-made meals and ensuring the client stays nourished throughout the day. Light housekeeping duties include tidying common areas, managing laundry, and maintaining a clean, comfortable recovery environment. The role emphasizes gentle assistance and monitoring to ensure the client's safety and comfort as they heal.
What We're Looking For:
We need someone with post-surgical care experience who understands the physical limitations and needs of clients recovering from surgery. The ideal caregiver is calm, patient, and brings positive energy to create a comfortable healing environment. Reliability and consistency are essential, as the client needs to trust their caregiver during this vulnerable time. Strong communication skills and the ability to take initiative when needed are important. The caregiver should be comfortable with mobility support, including safe transfer techniques, and capable of handling light household tasks. English fluency is required.
Schedule:
This is a temporary two-week assignment beginning Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. The first day (Tuesday) requires full-day coverage from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM while the client's spouse is at work. Wednesday through Friday of the first week will require 2-3 hours of support each day. The second week (July 20-24) requires 2-3 hours daily, Monday through Friday. The client does not need weekend coverage as family support is available. Specific daily timing is flexible and can be coordinated with the caregiver to ensure consistent care throughout the recovery period.
