Job Responsibilities
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Supply, you will:
Develop and Implement Programs
- Implement age-appropriate, play-based learning activities in alignment with Ontario’s How Does Learning Happen (HDLH)Pedagogical Framework and Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) framework.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment to support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Observe and Document Progress
- Observe and assess children’s interests, abilities, and needs, using this information to tailor daily programming.
- Maintain accurate records of daily logs, developmental milestones, attendance, and needed documents.
Ensure Health and Safety
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to maintain a secure environment.
- Follow established policies and procedures.
Support Administrative Duties
- Assist with room setup, organization, and daily maintenance of a welcoming learning environment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and Treasure Garden Childcare policies.
