We are a friendly, easy-going couple based in South Kelowna looking for a reliable, proactive House & Property Manager to help keep our home and 10-acre property in South Kelowna, running smoothly. This position can be either live-in or live-out, with an immediate start.
This role is flexible and can be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate and your availability. We're happy to work together to create a schedule that fits both your needs and ours.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized home, including general housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Manage grocery shopping, household supplies, and run errands as needed
- Prepare healthy meals and meal prep
- Manage the household calendar, including scheduling appointments and keeping track of important dates
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of our 10-acre property, including managing existing staff, coordinating contractors, tradespeople, landscapers, and other service providers
- Source quotes, book appointments, and arrange home and property maintenance services (HVAC, pool, landscaping, etc)
- Perform light outdoor tasks such as watering gardens, tending flowers, and keeping outdoor areas tidy
- Care for our calm 10-week-old Great Dane puppy, including feeding, walks, basic training reinforcement, cleaning up after him, and transporting him to training classes and veterinary appointments.
- Assist with other general household and property tasks as required
Ideal Candidate
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable coordinating contractors and managing household projects
- Enjoys cooking healthy meals
- Loves dogs and is comfortable caring for a large-breed puppy
- Must have a valid driver's licence and access to a personal reliable vehicle for errands, appointments, and transporting the puppy. Gas will be reimbursed
- Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Compensation
- $21–$25 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Flexible scheduling with the option for part-time or full-time hours
- Live-in accommodation may be available for the right candidate (if interested)
- Compensation for live-in arrangements will be discussed with successful applicants
