Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Ticket Roofers and Apprentices/Labours to join our construction team. This role involves working on roofing projects, assisting with installation and repair tasks, and supporting the overall construction process. Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and construction equipment
- Support senior roofers in measuring, cutting, and fitting roofing materials according to project specifications
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Use caulking tools to seal joints and prevent leaks as part of roofing tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural adjustments as needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to complete projects on time and within safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or handyman skills are preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, carpentry, blueprint reading, and caulking is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including standing, climbing, and lifting heavy materials
- A proactive attitude with a desire to develop skills in roofing and construction trades
