Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Property Services Manager, this position ensures the cleanliness of the casino and public areas to ensure an outstanding experience for casino guests. Must be collaborative, ex cel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ensures adherence to the Company�s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian�s learning environment while establi shing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
General and specialized cleaning duties in all casino areas including gaming floor, kitchens, and other back of house areas
Responsible for heavy lifting including manoeuvring heavy cleaning equipment
Works with cleaning chemicals and operates various cleaning equipment
Provides an exceptional experience for casino internal and external guests as this position is a high guest contact position
Responsible for washroom cleaning in public and back of house areas.

Education and Qualifications
Embraces the Casino Nova Scotia culture and philosophy and has a playful, infectious and "all about the guest" attitude!
Must have the ability to be certified by the Nova Scotia Alcohol & Gaming Division
Satisfactory attendance is required
Must be able to use industrial machinery such as burnishers, buffers and carpet extractors.
Must be able to work backshift
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures an asset
WHMIS knowledge an asset
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Must have good communication skills
Must be a team player
Must be able to priorities and have strong time management skills
Must have excellent guest service skills
Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

- Regular restaurant environment; standing and walking for long periods of time; exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors; lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending; some exposure to fume s, smoke, chemicals; risk of minor cuts and burns, may have non-traditional work hours, schedule flexibility is required.
