Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Compound Mixer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately mixing chemical compounds and materials to meet product specifications. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently. The position offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Duties
- Measure and combine raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures
- Operate mixers, blenders, and other related equipment to produce consistent compound batches
- Monitor mixing processes to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
- Assist with inventory management by tracking raw materials and finished products
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment as needed during production tasks
- Support warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and material handling with forklift or manual methods when required
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to chemical handling and machinery operation
Pay: $19.00 per hour
