Job Summary
E Landscaping is seeking an experienced and dependable Interlock Labourer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience installing interlock pavers, retaining walls, and other hardscape features while maintaining high-quality workmanship and job site safety. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works well in a team environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of interlock driveways, walkways, patios, steps, and retaining walls.
- Prepare job sites by excavating, grading, and installing proper base materials.
- Lay and level interlock pavers to company and industry standards.
- Cut pavers and wall stone using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install edge restraints, bedding sand, and polymeric sand.
- Operate and maintain compactors, plate tampers, concrete saws, and other landscaping equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Read and follow site plans, measurements, and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in interlock and hardscape installation.
- Strong knowledge of proper base preparation, grading, drainage, and installation techniques.
- Experience with retaining wall systems is considered an asset.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
- Valid G Driver's Licence (preferred).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Requirements
- CSA-approved safety boots.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season.
- Reliable transportation to and from the shop or job sites.
- Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
