Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long-Term Care team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to promote the health, safety, and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with professional standards and physician orders.
- Monitor residents' health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Health Care Aides (HCAs) as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and provincial regulations.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
- Current registration and good standing as a Registered Nurse in [Province].
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Long-Term Care or geriatric nursing experience is an asset.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
