The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Riverport Richmond i s seeking a Executive Housekeeper who will be responsible for the supervision and control of cleaning and servicing all bedrooms, restaurants, function and public rooms in the hotel. Their duties are critical in the effective management of the hotel, as cleanliness is paramount.
- Must check and ensure all bedrooms and public spaces are serviced and cleaned daily.
- Train team members on all housekeeping processes and procedures including how to care for and organize their equipment, while acting as a leader at all times.
- Responsible for ensuring all job tools and equipment are well maintained, manage inventory controls as well as waste management.
- Recognize and oversee opportunities that may exist to reduce costs in all aspects of the Housekeeping Department and laundry services.
- Will maintain housekeeping employee schedules and logs.
- Report all maintenance items and collect maintenance lists from your team.
- Delegate work assignments and ensure teams have the appropriate tools and supplies.
- Resolve customer complaints with efficiency to accommodate customer needs and requests.
- Ensure that attendance registers are completed daily and in accordance with regulations.
- Promote positive relationships with all co-workers and customers.
- Collect as well as log lost and found items.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisor housekeeping experience.
- Physically fit. Repetitive physical tasks - standing for long periods of time, bending, crouching, kneeling and reaching. (Able to life up to 50 pounds).
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, has computer knowledge and basic mathematical skills.
- Flexible work schedule, ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Provide a positive work environment, fostering a team spirit.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail, hands-on leadership approach and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to train and coach staff as well as conduct departmental meetings

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
