Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and supporting daily restaurant operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food promptly
- Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling tasks such as portioning, plating, and packaging orders
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
